Bullet Journal 2019 Setup
Oh yes. That brand new book smell. Gotta love it right? I love that each year gives you a new opertunity to start fresh. As for bullet journaling you can review your last year and see what spreads you used and which ones got left behind. I know sometimes we can feel a little over ambitious with all the trackers out there. Trust me, I have this issue as well.
Trust me. I have this same problem. At the beginning of the year I want to track EVERYTHING. But I know that it will just get to be too much. So I try and chose the things that matter the most. Or that I will enjoy looking back on the most. Last year I tracked all the movies I watched. Yes, this was tedious using tiny pictures of all the movies. I could have saved myself lots of time just by writing out the names. But what can I say. I love a pretty and colorful Journal.
So every year I always start with a Calendar.
I adjusted my Future Log to be on one page. Last year I had it on two pages and I found that I never used it as much as I thought I would. But this is personal preference. I also added my key (at the very beginning of my book) even though I don’t really need it anymore. I pretty much know what my symbols mean. But this is where you can change it up as well.
I created myself an Ultimate Spacing Guide because I use the same dimensions of things all the time this help me do the math on the amount of squares I have available and how many I can fit per page. This has truley been a lifesaver.
I made a page to track all my monthly bills. I like having this information all on one page. I used to have it at the beginning of the month way back in the day. Before I started sharing my Bullet Journals online.
I also have a section dedicated to tracking books, movies and series.
While these next two are not for everyone they are trackers I enjoy. I love seeing the growth of my online family. Even though it’s small I can really devote the time to respond to each and every one of you. So thank you for being interested in my crazy ideas!
I aslo wanted to keep track of all of my progress on my videos. I devided this into weeks and I will put each icons color into the day that I do that certain task.
I have a spread to track what my top 5 favorite songs are for each month, a page dedicated to all future project ideas and lastly is my savings tracker.
So this is my 2019 setup. I hope I’ve inspired some of you to try bullet journaling for the first time. As you can see by this setup you don’t need a lot of colors to make it interesting. I personally quite like the look of black and white themes. If you re-create any of my spreads tag me on Instagram for a shout-out in my next video. Love you all and keep creating!
