March Setup 2019 | Lilo & Stitch
I think this was my favorite movie for a long time when it came out. I could watch it over and over again and not get bored of it.
I was also excited to use this theme because it had lots of color in it. So I had to pull out all my markers to find all the right shades! I had to use both my crayola supertips and my Tombows.
Even though this theme could have easily been as colorful throughout I want to use one general color as the theme. I chose blue because of the Mood Tracker you’ll see in a bit. The characters live in Hawaii and are surrounded by water. Made choosing blue easy.

I also added the excuse that Lilo gives for being late about Pudge the fish controlling the weather and needing a peanut butter sandwich.

The Mood Tracker is usually the first page I design for any month. I loved the scene when they all go surfing and recreated that in my book. The skin colors were really hard to get looking good. I guess I could have added a bit of pencil crayons to help smooth out some lines.
I really wanted to use the waves of the water and have the days of the month inside of them. So this is really where the blue theme came from.
I used Stitch’s “Badness Level” as my Habit Tracker. I made sure to have enough of the outline of the body in every catagory. Then I will just color in every section with blue. I also thought this idea was pretty original. I don’t think I’ve seen anything like it yet.

For my Polaroid Memories page it only made sence to use the photos that Lilo displays on her wall. So I tried to copy her style of photography in my pictures as well.

This page was fun. I actually used the music notes from the real song at the top. Clever. At least I thought I was.
I chose to draw the scene where she discovers that stitch can be used as a speaker when he opens his mouth.
For the first weekly spread I drew Lilo & Stitch dancing. On the next page I used the spoons from her punishment pickle jar. The “hair” will be the cups of water.
This next week is more irregular boxes for the day and my water tracker are the weird alien drumsticks. Also a cute drawing of Lilo in her grass hula skirt.
This week had Lilo & Stitch in the hammock. I love this picture too. I also had to find somewhere to add the frog from when Stitch first lands on earth. Isn’t he adorable?
The last weekly spread is dedicated to Lilo’s obsession with Elvis. In record form that is. I love how these turned out. Also added a mini version of the badness level for the water tracker.
The trackers all filled in. See? I knew the mood tracker was gonna look good! It kind of reminds me of a paint-by-number.
The habit tracker turned out pretty good as well.
Does this happen to anyone else?
This was the first time I used a Disney theme for my Bullet Journal. I may need to explore more movies and/or books.
If you re-create any of my spreads tag me on Instagram for a shout-out in my next video. Love you all and keep creating!
